Keith forgot to mention that we decked our bikes out with sweet streamers, and disney windmill spiral things. They're pink, and pretty sweet, so you had better watch out when we come to your town. We figure we had been riding these puppies for a month now, and it was about time for a little customization!
Yep. we get a lot of weird looks now from passing cars, not knowing what to think of us, wearing sweet specialized gear, and pink streamers flying off the handlebars.

We'll try and update all the pictures in marathon as well, if we can find a computer.

I am sure that the bikes look great. This way you will be able to tell which way the wind is blowing. Hope you have not had the rain that eastern Ontario is having.

Cool, you guys! Careful your decorations don't get swiped!!

Keep yer eyes on the lookout for Terry Fox's original Econoline van that he travelled with. It's all refurbished (compliments of Ford)and travelling along the route he took, trying to finish what he couldn't. His family is along for the ride. Apparently they tow it to town areas and drive it into towns along the route, to save wear and tear. A BC band had been using it to travel to gigs in when they found it! It's beige and has the logos and stuff on the side.

Wish you speed and few bugs around Superior! Kickbutt!

Hello, Lisa's mom here. Just an update for you. She departed from Thunder Bay on Saturday around 10a.m. She had a sunny start with clouds arriving around Ouimet. She didn't care for the washboard road before that town. She is off to a strong 2nd leg of her journey and was eager as well. With luck she may connect with you again. Safe travelling all.

Hi Moving Muscles! Did you see my note on the shoulder written in zinc diaper rash cream? It sure was a boost to meet you guys...it gave me lots of enthusiasm to tackle northern Ontario! I made it safely to my hometown Deep River, Ontario in the evening on June 25. A "horses to the barn" syndrome got me there pretty quick from Sault Ste. Marie. I was really impressed with the bike shop in Thunder Bay... I now have a Schwalbe Marathon Plus on the rear wheel and am carrying with love the spare that you so generously gave to me! I expect to stay with my parents in Deep River for a couple of weeks after which I will help them drive out to the east coast for a family reunion. I'm not finished cycle touring this summer, I just haven't quite decided when, and where to next... I'll be monitoring your progress and may you be happy even with headwinds. Regards, Bruce
